I don’t know that Chris is called creator of Wolverine by us, so i think your premise is flawed.
However, Chris did contribute far more to what’s made Wolverine a successful character over the years than Todd did to Spidey. It’s not difficult to win a race when you begin with a Mazzerati, even if you drive it really well.
The car is called a Maserati. Mazzerati is that guy that drew Daredevil: Born Again and Batman Year One.
