I get there are more pages but i allow myself 30 titkes a month and October with the Secret Wars overlap it comes to 45 books. How exactly an i meant to try out new books. Ok for oct what i was going to buy. Thats ten new books i was going fo check out that im not now. Drop ur prices, or stop these 4.99 1st issues or stop double shipping. Ur going to far

In a typical month, we release around 70 titles. During SECRET WARS, all of those titles ended and were replaced by SECRET WARS books. Now we’re rolling out the new books. But if you count up the total number of releases in October, you’ll see that it’s still around 70 even with those double-ships. That’s because we don’t think it’s wise to try to launch every single thing all at once in a single month, so we’ll be staggering our release schedule. However, doing so means that we need to hit our title count number through other means–which includes things like the five WHAT IF INFINITY books.

That came off sounding like the five WHAT IF INFINITY books exist only to pad out the title count, and not because someone had a really great story to tell. 

 I’m sure that’s not what was intended.

But considering I have looked at some titles in the past and asked myself “why does this even exist?”, it’s certainly a viable hypothesis for discussion.
