When you look at superheroes they're always buffed and perfectly handsome and superheroines have always amazing curves. It's not sexism, as many think it is, but idealization of the human body. That applies for the media as well. Coming up as a midget as a characters current girlfriend is to invent the wheel new feels really cheap.

You certainly made short work of him…

I am LOVING Otto’s girlfriend.  It’s part of Dan Slott’s overall plan to actually make you LIKE Spidey-Ock, making him human, seeing him as more than a simple “bad guy doing a body switch”.

I’ve said it before, by the time this story ends, he’s going to have made Otto enough of a rounded character that a lot of folks not want to see him leave, and CERTAINLY not wanting to see him return to being a a baddie.

Heck, there’s still people who want Ben Reilly back.
