Anonymous asked: Everything is canon unless it is explicitly written out of canon. Discrepencies can only be resolved on-panel. Reed and Ben will ALWAYS have fought in WWII, there's no way to undo that, and I'm not going to put my old comics in a bonfire. I already destroyed all my old DCs when they rebooted continuity - TWICE - I like Marvel because you DON'T usually make me to destroy my comics.
Okay, that’s an extremist point of view, but you’re free to read your comics any way you choose. It never bothers me that Reed and Ben were WWII vets in 1962 stories, because that made sense them.
I suppose my question for you would be how do you reconcile that with the fact that Reed and Ben in contemporary stories aren’t 100 years old? Or do you just overlook it? How would you suggest we handle a flashback to their time in the service if we were to do one in a story tomorrow?
Cosmic Rays. They solve everything.
Johnny is actually 57 years old, but hasn’t aged since the “missile” launch intended to beat The Reds into space.
What?
